Egyptian burial coffins (on loan from The Israel Museum, Jerusalem)

The Balance Spoon is a space – fitted kinetic installation that forms a dialog between the movement of spoons that create the shape of scales in shadow and light, and burial coffins from ancient Egypt.
The scales are in constant motion, striving for balance. Opposite the scales, stand Egyptian burial coffins, in which man sought to embalm the body and stop the passing of time.
