Tamar Orr’s work revolves around the creation of movement. Using light, motors and sensors, Arduino software and diverse materials, she develops movements, rhythms and structures that engage with different narratives.

Orr graduated with honors from the Performing Arts Department at Tel Aviv University and later completed her Master of Arts (MA) at Rose Bruford College in London, specializing in Lighting and Installation.

Tamar teaches at leading art institutions in Israel and has over 20 years of experience working with space and lighting design in collaboration with leading choreographers and directors. Her works have received recognition and awards and have been invited to exhibit internationally.

Orr is currently represented by Art Place Gallery in Tel Aviv, Israel.
